No boats fishing offshore today. Weather was muggy and rainy. One boat fished for part of the morning and caught Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

Offshore boats came back with good catches of wahoo! There were fair catches of dolphin and blackfin tuna, few amberjack while the yellowfin tuna bite was scattered. Two sailfish were released!

Inshore anglers had fair catches of speckled trout, few bluefish and gray trout!

Offshore boats had good catches of wahoo and yellowfin tuna. There were a few dolphin catches too!

Offshore boats had a good billfish bite! 6 sailfish, 1 blue marlin and 1 white marlin were released. The wahoo catches were fair while king mackerel, dolphin and bluefin tuna were scattered.

The fish were really snappin and the flags a flappin.

Offshore Hatteras Fever released 5 sailfish, Native Son released 1 Blue Marlin & 3 Sailfish and Release released 2 sailfish. The meat fish caught included scattered dolphin, few blackfin tuna, some bottom fish and really good wahoo. Lots of citation size. Yum!Yum!

Inshore had another great day of big red drum and seeing big schools and nice speckled trout. Yum! Yum!

Native Son: David Joynek Jr. of Newport News, VA released a Blue Marlin.

Godspeed: William Goodchild of Laurel, MD caught a 28lb Grouper.

You really missed it today. Gorgeous weather and slick calm waters plus the fish were hungry.

Offshore fishing was a mixed variety of good dolphin catches, a few wahoo, some bottom fish and 1 white marlin release.

Inshore had plenty of spanish mackerel, some king mackerel, excellent speckled trout and red drum.

Calm seas and light breeze today on the ocean. Good Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna. Fair Wahoo and some bottom fish including Snappers. Blue Marlin were seen but not hooked up. Inshore they were catching excellent Spanish Mackerel.

 

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Cooler temps in the morning warming up to a beautiful day. Great catches of Wahoo, fair Blackfin Tuna and a few Dolphin were on the menu today.

Inshore boats had good catches of Spanish Mackerel and Albacore along the beach. They also caught a 30" King Mackerel. One of our Captains was fun fishing in the sound this afternoon, caught and released Big Red Drum

Good Times: John Smihal of Shippensburg, PA caught a 50lb Grouper. Steven Campbell of Fairfield, PA caught a 40lb Wahoo.

Sundown: Masi Okasaki of Gainesville, VA caught a 21lb Blackfin Tuna.

Offshore: Nice day, one boat out,  came back with a good catch of blackfin tuna, fre wahoo, amberjack and tilefish.

We had only one offshore boat go out today. Thay came back with a good catch of dolphin while the blackfin tuna bite was scattered.

No boats fished inshore.
