Cooler temps in the morning warming up to a beautiful day. Great catches of Wahoo, fair Blackfin Tuna and a few Dolphin were on the menu today.

Inshore boats had good catches of Spanish Mackerel and Albacore along the beach. They also caught a 30" King Mackerel. One of our Captains was fun fishing in the sound this afternoon, caught and released Big Red Drum

Good Times: John Smihal of Shippensburg, PA caught a 50lb Grouper. Steven Campbell of Fairfield, PA caught a 40lb Wahoo.

Sundown: Masi Okasaki of Gainesville, VA caught a 21lb Blackfin Tuna.

Offshore: Nice day, one boat out,  came back with a good catch of blackfin tuna, fre wahoo, amberjack and tilefish.

We had only one offshore boat go out today. Thay came back with a good catch of dolphin while the blackfin tuna bite was scattered.

No boats fished inshore.

Offshore boats had a nice day! They came back with good catches of dolphin, wahoo, blackfin tuna and some amberjack while king mackerel were scattered. Boats that bottom fished caught citation size tilefish and grouper. One sailfish was released.

Inshore boats had really good catches of Spanish mackerel and some keeper (15") flounder.

We had a good number of boats offshore today they caught Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Grouper, Triggerfish and Tilefish. Other bottom fish that were caught in Vermillion Snapper and Pink Porgies. They also released 2 Sailfish.

Inshore boats caught Speckled Trout, Gray Trout, Bluefish. They also saw a large school of Tarpon.

Only one boat offshore today, they had 1- 89 year old man fishing. This man caught 3 Wahoo, 2 Blackfin Tuna and released 2 Sailfish. I guess it just goes to show you fishing is for all ages.

Fall fishing is great out of Hatteras Harbor. Offshore catches include Wahoo, King Mackerel and Yellowfin Tuna. Inshore catches include Red Drum, Trout, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel and Flounder. View the following pictures from previous years fishing trips

Offshore boats had a good day! They came back with good catches of dolphin while the wahoo and blackfin tuna catches were fair. Ten sailfish and one white marlin were released!

Inshore had a really good catch of speckled trout!

FLAGS ARE FLYING AT HATTERAS HARBOR TODAY!

18 SAILFISH ... 5 WHITE MARLIN ... 3 BLUE MARLIN  ... RELEASED

Hatteras Fever II came in with 2 Grand Slams! (2 blues, 2 whites and 8 sailfish!) Godspeed also had a Grand Slam, while Sea Creature released 5 sailfish and a blue!

In addition to all the billfish action, boats that fished for meat had good catches of wahoo and blackfin tuna while dolphin catches were scattered.

Inshore boats caught speckled  and gray trout!
