Today's offshore boats had good catches of blackfin tuna and a scattered catch of doplhin.

No boats fished inshore.

Offshore: One boat out today, came back with a few dolphin and scattered catches of wahoo and king mackerel.

Inshore: One boat inshore too! The caught speckled trout and puppy drum.

Well, we have survived another storm. Our thoughts and prayers are with families and friends in "Sandy" areas. There is a light at the end of the tunnel stay strong.

As one might image, there have been no boats fishing the last couple of days but its looking good for the weekend. The ferries will start bringing visitors over tomorrow be sure to make reservations for Swan Quarter or Cedar Island. The Stumpy Point ferry is Priority first, then first come first serve. A few boats fished today and returned early due to increasing swells and rain bands. Some really nice sized Wahoo were caught as well as a few Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna.

Thursday, October 25, 2012

Offshore boats had a good day, they had good catches of Dolphin both gaffer and bailer size. There were few Wahoo, Blackfin, Yellowfin, King Mackerel and some bottom fish were caught. Godspeed released a Sailfish.

Inshore boats had good catches of Speckled trout and Bluefish. There were limits of Gray trout and a few keeper Flounder

Good Wahoo, fair Dolphin and a few Blackfin Tuna today. Speckled Trout in the sound. Sea Creature released a Sailfish.

Release: Manon Biennenue of La Baie, QC caught a 44lb Wahoo.

Sea Creature: Brian Wilson of New Oxford, PA released a Sailfish.

Excellent weather to go along with excellent fishing! Wahoo, Dolphin were the main catches followed by  King Mackerel and a few Blackfin Tuna. Godspeed caught a Sailfish. Speckled Trout and Gray Trout in the sound.
