Happy New Year !! Hope everyone had a good and safe holiday, we all did and are looking forward to a great year of fishing. We are open and booking trips for the up coming Tuna season, give us a call if you have any question or want to book a trip.

 

We did have a boat go out today and do some trolling for King Macherel, they had a good catch.

Last day of fishing for 2012. A couple of boats are out today. It was still cool but not as windy. They caught some blackfin & yellowfin tuna. Some of our inshore boats are duck hunting and looking for drum. Have a safe and happy new year.

A little chilly and windy. Two boats fished today. They had a variety of catches. The fish consisted of dolphin, blackfin and yellowfin tuna, albacore, amberjack and some sharks. Depending on weather, there may be some boats fishing until New Years. Have a safe and nice New Years.

Well, we had one boat out today, they caught Blackfin Tuna, Amberjack and Albacore. High winds forecasted for tomorrow so there will be no boats fishing. We do have 2 people looking to do a make up trip Christmas week so if anyone is interested or already has a boat booked and would like to have a couple people join them let us know we'll put them in touch with you.

One boat offshore, came back with 14 blackfin tuna, 2 yellowfin tuna and a 31lb king mackerel!

No boats fished inshore.

Offshore boats came back with good catches of blackfin tuna. One boat bottom fished and had an excellent catch of triggrtfish (80 of them) and a grouper.

No boats fished inshore.

One boat fishing today. Weather was fairly rough and chilly. Fog rolled in late morning and ferry service was suspended. Nice sized Blackfin Tuna caught on today's trip.

 

Release: Bruce Gambardella of Spring Valley, NY caught a 37lb Blackfin Tuna.

Offshore: Boats came in with good catches of blackfin tuna and amberjack. King mackerel, wahoo and dolphin catches were scattered. One boat bottom fished and caught a limit of tile fish.

Inshore: One boat fished the sound and caught some keeper puppy drum.
