Offshore boats had a choppy run this morning, but nice in the afternoon. They had excellent catches of gaffer dolphin, (1 was 41lbs!), good catches of blackfin tuna and a few amberjack.

Inshore boats had good catches of bluefish (nice size), some speckled and gray trout and 1 40lb cobia!

Offshore: Good dolphin fishing, lots of gaffers! Blackfin tuna catches were good too! 2 white marlin and 1 blue marlin were released!

Inshore: Good Spanish mackerel and bluefis catches, scattered gray trout!

Due to high winds, offshore boats stayed docked

Inshore boats caught gray and speckled trout, big bluefish and 6 citation red drum releases (45 to 471/2 inches!)

Wow, the boats had a great day marlin fishing, there were 10 Blue Marlin and 2 Sailfish released in the Hatteras Fleet. Tuna Duck released 3 Blues, Sea Creature, Release and Bite Me each released a Blue Marlin. Dolphin fishing was okay and there were a few Wahoo caught. We also had a boat that had a good catch of Blackfin Tuna

Talked with a few of the Captain on their way in today, they commented that Dolphin fishing had slowed a bit from yesterday but they still had some descent catches. There were also some Wahoo caught.  The billfish bite was pretty good today there were 5 Blue Marlin, 1 Sailfish and a Spearfish released today in the Hatteras Fleet. Sea Creature released 2 Blue Marlin and a Spearfish and Hatteras Fever II released a Sailfish

Inshore boats had real good Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish along the beach and there were some Cobia seen but none caught.

Weather was ugly in the early morning but improved greatly as the day went on. Two boats fished today. They caught great medium to gaffer size dolphin and Release released a Blue Marlin.

Really great weather today with a sound that looked like a mirror.  Anglers today caught some really nice size Gaffer (larger) Dolphin a few Blackfin Tuna and a couple of Amberjack. We had a makeup charter out today on Gambler they had a Sailfish release. A nice honeymoon present for the angler.

Offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin and few wahoo. 1 white marlin was released and 2 large sharks were released!

Inshore boats caught few gray trout.

There were no boats fishing offshore today due to nasty weather. We did have 1 of our larger charter boats out fishing along the beach and caught some Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. There was also a 1/2 day trip in the sound they caught some flounder and gray trout.
