Warm and breezy in Hatteras today with the temps reaching the 70's. No boats went fishing today. The company who hosts our webcam is having some technical difficulties and promises to get it back up and running as soon as possible.

A 124" Hammerhead was brought to the dock. If you were looking at our webcame between 5:45 and 6PM you would have seen it. Bluefin Tuna fishing continues to be good for the boats, they caught them good today both trolling and casting poppers. There was also a sign of Yellowfin and some Dolphin caught. It was really nice offshore today, as well as fishing the parties also got to see Killer and Humpback Whales and lots of Porpoises.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!  Hope everyone has gotten their Sweetie a valentine, if not, it's not too late. You can still get them a great gift a "FISHING TRIP". Bluefin Tuna fishing was outstanding as fishermen Mark Hildreth said of his day out fishing. Him and wife Cassandra released 5 and brought one in weighing 205lb. Another boat had 16 bites and boated 5 of them. Yesterdays fish measured anywhere from  71" to 91", nice ones!

Offshore fishing was good again today not as good as yesterday but good anyway. More Bluefin tuna, several were released and a couple were boated. There was also a Big Eye Tuna caught, they didn't realize it until it was weighed in, but Tuna Duck caught a 150lb Big Eye Tuna
