Offshore: Boats came back with few dolphin while the wahoo and blackfin tuna bite was scattered. Three sailfish were released.
Inshore: Boats caught Spanish mackerel and bluefish.

Offshore fishing was a little slower today than yesterday but they did have fair catches of Dolphin and Wahoo. Blackfin Tuna fishing was good. Sea Creature released a Sailfish. Near shore for Spanish Mackerel was really good. Inshore boats had good fishing for Speckled trout. Big Red Drum were also released in the sound.

Timothy Horton of Midlothian, VA released a Sailfish on Sea Creature
Billy Michael of Chester, VA caught a 45lb Grouper on Good Times
Offshore boats had excellent catches of Dolphin along with some really nice sized Wahoo. There were also some Blackfin Tuna caught. Along the beach were good catches of Spanish Mackerel and in the sound boats caught Speckled Trout, Gray Trout and Clams
Nathan Lucas of Raleigh, NC released a Sailfish on Hatteras Blue
David Ashton of Cledonia, MI released a Sailfish on Hatteras Blue
William Britton of Hoboken, NJ released a White Marlin on Gambler
John Gregory of Clermont, NJ released a White Marlin on Gambler
David Stafford of Lindenwold, NJ caught a 48lb Wahoo on Lucky Chip
Thomas Beeman of Carlisle, PA caught a 64lb Wahoo on Sea Creature
Bit gloomy first thing in the morning but quickly changed to a hot beautiful day in Hatteras. Boats returned with excellent catches of Mahi-Mahi and a few Wahoo. Inshore good catches of Speckled Trout and Gray Trout.
Good Times: Emanuele Gillio of Somerset, NJ caught a 44lb Grouper.
Good Dolphin fishing today and excellent Wahoo catches as well as a few Blackfin Tuna. Billfish were in for a visit with Big Eye releasing 2 Sailfish, Good Times releasing a Blue Marlin, and Godspeed and Hatteras Blue with Sailfish releases. Inshore excellent Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout and Red Drum.
Hatteras Blue: Ben Ayers of Ashburn, VA released a Sailfish.
Native Son: David Ritchie of EastChester, NY caught a 40lb Wahoo.
Godspeed: Marlin Adams of Summerfield, NC released a Sailfish.
Tuna Duck: Eric Ewald of Manalapan, NJ caught a 40lb Wahoo.
Big Eye: Galen Rohrbaugh Jr. of Oakland, MD released a Sailfish. Brandon Rohrbaugh of Keyser, WV released a Sailfish.
Farfrompuken(private boat): Myjestic Anderson of Moyock, NC released a Sailfish and caught a 46lb Wahoo.
Offshore: Beautiful day at sea! Boats came back with good catches of dolphin, few wahoo. The blackfin tuna bite was scattered. One blue marlin was released.
Inshore: Beautiful on the Sound as well! Boats came in with good catches of Spanish mackerel, speckled trout and bluefish. One 36" red drum released. Clamming trip harvested 200 (limit) clams!

Offshore boats came in with excellent catches of dolphin and a few wahoo. King mackerel and blackfin tuna bites were scattered. One blue marlin was released.
Inshore boats came back with speckled trout, flounder and bluefish.

There were no boats fishing today.
Offshore boats returned with good catches of Dolphin, some Wahoo and some Blackfin Tuna. There were also some bottom fish caught; Sea Bass and Grouper. Bite Me released a Sailfish
Inshore boats had a good day as well, they caught a good number of Speckled Trout and some Gray Trout. There were also a good catch of clams.
David Taylor of West Friendship, MD released a Sailfish on Bite Me
JoAnne Kelly of St Paul, MN caught a 55lb Grouper on Good Times, the biggest this summer
