Inshore anglers reported scattered Speckled Trout catches, a few Flounder, and a few Puppy Drum this morning. A North wind made the Pamlico Sound very choppy this afternoon and no one fished. A couple of boats went offshore today and reported windy and rough conditions, which made for a slow day of fishing. The Blackfin Tuna bite was good with some trophy fish thrown on the dock this afternoon. A few Dolphin and King Mackerel made it into the fish box as well. Nice Fall-like weather will continue, so plan your fishing expedition before cold weather strikes!

Several boats fished inshore this morning and the only thing they had to report was about 25 undersized Speckled Trout which were thrown back. One keeper Red Drum was caught by a lucky angler. A handful of offshore boats ventured out to the Gulf Stream. One boat returned early with a limit of King Mackerel and Blackfin Tuna. The other parties experienced excellent King Mackerel and Blackfin Tuna catches. A few Dolphin and Yellowfin Tuna were reported as well. One lone Wahoo was boated. A South wind made for a beautiful day to be out on the water!

It's a beautiful Fall day on the island - temps in the 70's and a nice west wind. No boats went offshore today and only one inshore boat fished the Pamlico Sound. It was quite breezy this morning, but the group reported that conditions improved as the morning wore on. They caught Blow Toads, undersized Red Drum, and Sea Mullet. Nothing to keep but fond memories of a good fishing experience and they were happy upon return. Our phone lines are still messed up, but you can reach us by dialing 252-986-2167. Don't miss out on the beauty of Hatteras this Fall season!

It has been a beautiful day with temps in the 80's, beautiful blue skies, calm water, and good fishing. Inshore anglers experienced good Speckled Trout catches and good Red Drum fishing this morning. Drum releases and Flounder were caught this afternoon. Offshore boats returned with good catches of Dolphin - bailers and gaffers. There were a few Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, and King Mackerel caught today. One angler released a Sailfish and a Blue Marlin was seen by one party - it came up behind a bailer rod and put on a good show stealing the Dolphin. An exciting day offshore!

We are looking for 3 people to fill a make up trip for tomorrow, Friday the 21st, $280 per person. Oop, now I'm down to 2 people, don't miss out.  Fishing has been pretty good yesterday, boats had near limits of Dolphin. Check out the pics for yesterday.

No boats offshore today, inshore anglers had a good day. Lots of large Red Drum were released, some were citations, few were keepers. Speckled trout bit good today but different than the Drum a lot were too small with a few keepers. One boat reported releasing over 40 Drum.  Ladies please be sure not to miss the fish in the one pic.

A couple of boats headed to the gulf stream today, both gaffer and bailer size dophin were boated and only a few Wahoo. Fishing is hard work be sure to check out the picture of the guy on the dock. Bottom fishing was good for the triggers and inshore fishing was slow with some sea mullet, blow toads, spots, small speckled trout, some keeper drum and some under size drum being caught. All in all it was a beautiful and anglers had a great time.
