Offshore fishing was a little slower today than yesterday but they did have fair catches of Dolphin and Wahoo. Blackfin Tuna fishing was good. Sea Creature released a Sailfish. Near shore for Spanish Mackerel was really good. Inshore boats had good fishing for Speckled trout. Big Red Drum were also released in the sound.

Bit gloomy first thing in the morning but quickly changed to a hot beautiful day in Hatteras. Boats returned with excellent catches of Mahi-Mahi and a few Wahoo. Inshore good catches of Speckled Trout and Gray Trout.

Good Dolphin fishing today and excellent Wahoo catches as well as a few Blackfin Tuna. Billfish were in for a visit with Big Eye releasing 2 Sailfish, Good Times releasing a Blue Marlin, and Godspeed and Hatteras Blue with Sailfish releases. Inshore excellent Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout and Red Drum.

Offshore: Beautiful day at sea! Boats came back with good catches of dolphin, few wahoo. The blackfin tuna bite was scattered. One blue marlin was released.

Inshore: Beautiful on the Sound as well! Boats came in with good catches of Spanish mackerel, speckled trout and bluefish. One 36" red drum released. Clamming trip harvested 200 (limit) clams!

Inshore boats had a good day as well, they caught a good number of Speckled Trout and some Gray Trout. There were also a good catch of clams.
