It poured rain all last night and this morning with some nice boomers to wake us up. A few boats fishing Offshore today had scattered catches of Blackfin & Yellowfin Tuna, King Mackerel and Dolphin. Inshore boats saw some Cobia and Blackfin Tuna.

Saturday, May 05, 2018

Inshore fishing picked up today with catches of Puppy Drum, Bluefish, and Bonita. We had most of our entire offshore fleet out and they experienced a good day of meat fishing. The Dolphin bite was excellent with mainly gaffers being caught. Wahoo, Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna helped to fill the fish box. Some King Mackerel are still hanging around and made it into the mix. There were reports of "excellent Houndfish bites" throughout the day. We need two more anglers for a Make up charter for  the start of next week - give us a call at 800-676-4939 for more information.

Inshore fishing was slow again today - Drum were spotted, but they ignored the hooks. We had a lot of offshore boats booked and the fish did not disappoint! Tuna fishing was good with Blackfin and Yellowfin being caught. Dolphin fishing was excellent with mostly gaffers filling the box.l. The Wahoo bite was scattered. It is good to see the dock full of happy anglers strutting around with bags full of fish. We hope for a repeat performance tomorrow as our entire fleet is booked! Don't miss out - get out on the water and experience the action. Give us a call at 800-676-4939 and we'll hook you up!

Inshore fishing was a bit slow today. Bluefish were biting and there were some schools of Drum spotted, but for the most part it ended up being a pretty ride around the Pamlico Sound. The fishing offshore was good with nice catches of Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna. Anglers had a great time reeling in fish and enjoying a beautiful May Day. We need a couple more anglers for a make up charter this week - give us a call at 800-676-4939 for more information.

Weather kept all boats at the docks today. It was certainly a quiet day in Hatteras. Sun was out and temperatures were in the 70's.

Saturday, April 28, 2018

A large school of Red Drum was spotted inshore this afternoon, but they refused to bite the hook. At least they were seen. The weather was beautiful and the fishing was pretty good offshore today. The Blackfin Tuna bite was on and there was fair Yellowfin Tuna action. Scattered Dolphin and Wahoo bites helped to complete a good day of fishing. We have a couple of folks signed up for a Make up charter this week. If interested call us at 800-676-4939 or stop by the marina anytime to sign up! Boats return with catches between 4 -5 p.m. daily. Stop by to see what is thrown on the dock!
