One boat went offshore today and experienced excellent Blackfin Tuna fishing. Amberjack fishing was good as well. Quite a few sharks were spotted. There was good fishing action inshore with a nice catch of Bluefish. A Red Drum was caught today - they have been seen, but would not bite. Looks like Spring fishing is picking up!

The weather for April is more like the weather in March! Winds gusted up to 40 kts. this morning keeping anglers from venturing out again today. At least we didn't have snow like so many did. Several boats are getting ready for tomorrow - so, check back to see what is caught.

Winds are blowing hard from the west and will continue throughout the weekend. A gale warning has been issued and boats remained at the dock again today.

Friday, April 01, 2016

Heavy rain squalls and stormy weather kept everyone at the dock today! It looks to be a stormy weekend - so maybe boats will be back out again next week. Check back tomorrow.
