Weather was breezy but not enough to deter the fishing fleet today. Most of the boats were out working the waters today. Depending on the direction they took they had either good to near limits of Dolphin or good Blackfin Tuna. There was an excellent Wahoo bite with some Sea Bass and Snappers. The Billfish were on and then off the hook with Bite Me releasing a Sailfish. Gambler releasing a Blue Marlin and 2 Sailfish. Godspeed released a Blue Marlin. Hatteras Fever released 2 White Marlin. Native Son, Patriot and Predator each released a Blue Marlin. Sea Creature released a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish.

Inshore good Red Drum fishing and Spanish Mackerel.

One foot waves on the Sound stirred up lots of 30" Red Drum for the inshore anglers!

Inshore boats reported good Spanish Mackerel fishing this morning. They also caught some Red Drum and went clamming!

Southwest winds made for some rough water offshore, however the boats that went out had some of the best fishing reported in a while. Dolphin fishing was excellent with both gaffers and bailers caught. Blackfin Tuna and Wahoo fishing was good today.

It's hard to believe that July is here and summer is in full swing. Don't let the season slip past without a fishing adventure - it's fun for the whole family!

The Billfish bite was on offshore. Two Blue Marlin, Two Sailfish, and several White Marlin were released. Dolphin fishing was fair today. Scattered Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna help to fill the box.
