A solid steady North wind blowing around 20kts kept most of the offshore fleet at the docks. Those that ventured out had scattered catches of Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna.

A little less breezy on the Sound, inshore charters caught Bluefish, Rays and some citation size Red Drum!

Inshore anglers enjoyed a morning of clamming - a wonderful family fun adventure which ends with an abundant feast! Red Drum fishing continues to be good in the Pamlico Sound.

It became quite stormy and windy offshore early this afternoon and sent most offshore charters back to the dock early. They returned with excellent catches of Blackfin Tuna. Limits of Dolphin lined the dock today and Wahoo fishing was good as well. There will be lots of happy anglers with a full belly tonight.

We need 2 more anglers for a Make-up Charter on Sunday.

Boats that fished inshore this morning had fun releasing Red Drum and catching some "keeper" Drum as well. They also caught Bluefish and Gray Trout. Anglers limited out on the "Keeper" Drum this afternoon. Clamming continues to be good.

Some boats fished near shore and returned with nice catches of Spanish Mackerel.

The offshore fleet returned with good catches of Dolphin (mostly bailers). Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna bites were scattered today. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water and many "happy anglers" were present on the dock with their bounty of fish.

No offshore boats fished today due to wind and swell. Inshore boats were catching Bluefish and lots of big Red Drum. Nearshore boats were catching Spanish Mackerel.

Weather was not fit for fishing so boats stayed at the docks today. Don't forget to book your trip before everyone gets back to school.
