Even though the weather was pretty offshore, fishing was a bit slow. Anglers returned to the docks with a few Dolphin, Wahoo and nice size Grouper. 

Inshore anglers continue to catch limits of Red Drum.

Inshore boats went out into the Pamlico Sound this morning and anglers reported good Red Drum fishing along with nice catches of Gray Trout and Bluefish.

Northeast winds made for another cool day offshore. Anglers returned with fairly good Dolphin catches. The Wahoo bite was good today and a few Blackfin Tuna made it into the fish box.

Guess what the inshore boats caught today? You got it - Red Drum! There were many releases of oversized Drum and some Puppy Drum (keepers) as well.

One boat ventured offshore and reported fair Dolphin fishing (both bailers and gaffers) and scattered Blackfin Tuna. The Wahoo bite was on again today with more bites than catches, but still a good amount of nice sized Wahoo make it into the fish box.

Inshore anglers continue to have good luck catching and releasing large Red Drum in the Pamlico Sound.

Despite a stormy, rainy day several boats went offshore today. Anglers reported seeing lots of water spouts along with stormy seas. Wahoo fishing was great and Dolphin fishing was scattered with both bailers and gaffers thrown on the dock. A few Blackfin Tuna made it into the fish box as well.

Anglers enjoyed another beautiful day both offshore and inshore. the larger boats returned with good catches of both Dolphin and Wahoo with a few Blackfin Tuna mixed in. Hatteras Fever II released a White Marlin.

Anglers fishing along the beach enjoyed catching Spanish Mackerel, Albacore and Sharks. While guys fishing in the sound had Big Drum releases

Offshore weather was calm and hot. People were reeling in lots of Dolphin some Wahoo and a few Blackfin Tuna. Hatteras Fever released a White Marlin Nearshore lots of Spanish Mackerel on the hook. Inshore it was great Red Drum releases.

Great fishing on the blue ocean today with really great catches of Wahoo, near limits to limits of Dolphin and scattered Blackfin Tuna. Lucky Chip released a Sailfish. Inshore boats were catching Spanish Mackerel and released Red Drum.

Inshore anglers continue to release ..., yes, you guessed right - Red Drum. Check out the citation below.

Offshore anglers had a great day on the Gulf Stream. Dolphin fishing was fabulous today (gaffers and bailers) and Wahoo fishing was excellent. A few Blackfin Tuna were thrown on the dock as well. Bottom fish included Black Sea Bass, Vermillion Snapper, Silver Snapper, and Amberjack. One boat released a Blue Marlin.

With school back in session and Fall just around the corner, it is a great time to visit Hatteras Island and take in the beautiful beaches, go on a fishing adventure, or just relax. We have efficiencies. a Deli on site, and inshore, near shore, or offshore fishing trips.

Beautiful day, however not many boats out. Those who fished caught some Dolphin and a few Wahoo.

Beautiful on the Sound as well! Inshore charters report good catches of Spanish Mackerel and some Bluefish. There were a few citations for Red Drum releases and some keeper Flounder!
