Several boats fished near shore this morning and returned with good catches of Spanish Mackerel. This afternoon, inshore boats reported "big" Red Drum releases and good clamming.

Only two boats fished offshore today. It was beautiful this morning but the wind picked up this afternoon, producing some rough conditions. Dolphin fishing was excellent, with scattered Blackfin Tuna thrown in. The Make-up Charter released a White Marlin.

Here's wishing everyone a safe and happy 4th of July.

Inshore boats reported good Spanish Mackerel fishing this morning. They also caught some Red Drum and went clamming!

Southwest winds made for some rough water offshore, however the boats that went out had some of the best fishing reported in a while. Dolphin fishing was excellent with both gaffers and bailers caught. Blackfin Tuna and Wahoo fishing was good today.

It's hard to believe that July is here and summer is in full swing. Don't let the season slip past without a fishing adventure - it's fun for the whole family!

It was slow fishing today for inshore boaters. A few Red Drum and some Bluefish were caught. This afternoon, clamming was on the agenda. What a family fun experience to have on the Pamlico Sound!

The Billfish bite was on offshore. Two Blue Marlin, Two Sailfish, and several White Marlin were released. Dolphin fishing was fair today. Scattered Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna help to fill the box.

We need several people for a Make-up Charter this week. Contact 800-676-4939 for more info!

The strong South West wind created seas up to 7 feet which kept all boats at the dock. Better weather is expected to be on its way!

Make up list is started for the week and there is good availability for charters! 800-676-4939

Here are some pictures of some past catches!

Small craft advisories kept most inshore boats in today. One did go out and caught a Red Drum.

Thunderstorms and big seas kept most offshore boats in as well today. The boats that did go out had a Blue Marlin release and good Dolphin catches. One citation Wahoo was caught. It's supposed to blow SW tomorrow and then fall out the rest of the week.

Despite stormy conditions early this morning, several inshore boats went out this morning and reported a good bluefish catch and a limit of clams.

One boat ventured offshore today and returned with a half-limit of Dolphin. We expect fishing conditions to improve this weekend, so if you would like to check out the daily catch come to the dock around 4p.m. to watch the boats unload.
