Offshore anglers enjoyed nice weather, blue water and boxes full of fish! Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna catches were good. Few Dolphin were caught along with a big 44lb Grouper and some Amberjack. No inshore boats made it out today but are looking forward to tomorrow.

The anglers who fished offshore experienced some of the best fishing yet this year! Blackfin Tuna made a good showing again today as did Yellowfin Tuna. Some Wahoo made it into the box as well. Other fish caught today were Bonita Mackerel, False Albacore, Amberjack, Sea Bass, Grouper, Golden Tilefish, and Black belly Rosefish. What began as a stormy morning turned into a very productive day.

It has been a beautiful sunny day in Hatteras and a great day to be fishing offshore. The Blackfin Tuna catch was excellent today. Dolphin was scattered (gaffers) and there were a few Yellowfin Tuna caught. Bottom fish included Black Sea Bass and Silver Snapper. Happy anglers should have plenty to grill tonight!

Inshore anglers braved chilly conditions in the Pamlico Sound to experience good Red Drum fishing.  The offshore fleet had a great day fishing the Gulf Stream. They caught a few Dolphin and some Wahoo. The Blackfin Tuna bite was good today! Some Albacore was caught as well. Bottom fishing continued to be good with Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish, Rosefish, Vermillion Snapper, and Amberjack.

Another beautiful day was had by all, offshore anglers had excellent catches of bottom fish; Sea Bass, Trigger fish, Glass Eye and Vermillion Snapper, Golden Tile, Grouper and Amberjack. The Blackfin Tuna bite was good to the East while there were also some Dolphin, Wahoo and King Mackerel at the Tower and South. One boat fishing near shore this morning caught Sea Bass, Shark and Bonita Mackerel. Inshore boats fishing for Red Drum along the beach had a lot of fun, they released 5 45lbers.

Another good day of Blackfin Tuna on the dock. Not as many boats out today, but they had good weather and good fishing. Red Drum were not as plentiful today, but still good catches.

Great fishing all around today, and what perfectly beautiful weather they had to round it off. Boats offshore were catching citation Blackfin, Golden Tilefish and Grouper. Red Drum fishing continued to be outstanding with Trophy size fish being caught. There were also Bluefish, Gray Trout and Sea Mullet on the menu.

Offshore anglers came back with big smiles as mates unloaded nice catches of Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna onto the dock! 

Those who fished inshore had all the Red Drum they wanted! 36 were released.

Rain showers and windy conditions kept the fleet at the dock today. Nice weather is forecast for next week and we are looking for eager anglers ready to enjoy their Spring Break offshore or inshore.

One boat ventured offshore today and returned with a good catch of Blackfin Tuna. They also caught a Bonita Mackerel and released some Amberjack.
