Beautiful scorcher today with some boats having good catches but scrappy overall. Dolphin, Wahoo and Blackfin were in the mix as well as a Sailfish on Chaser. Inshore lots of oversized Red Drum. Along the beach Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish were plentiful.

Slick calm, and hot at sea! Maybe a little to hot for the fish as fishing was a little slow. Offshore boats returned with a few catches of Dolphin, bailers and gaffers, and a few catches of Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna! One Blue Marlin and one White Marlin were released!

Inshore anglers enjoyed a beautiful day on the Sound as well! Boats brought back a few keeper Red Drum!

Red Drum fishing has been good all Spring inshore and today was no exception. They also caught Spot, Sea Mullet, and Gray Trout.

Southwest winds made for some rough conditions offshore but some happy anglers returned with good catches of Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna. Release released a Blue Marlin and Chaser released a White Marlin.

This was the final day of the Big Rock tournament. Several boats from our fleet participated. Hatteras Fever released 2 Blue Marlin and won the Friday Daily Division. Release released 1 Blue Marlin and won the Saturday Daily Division. Way to fish guys! For more information go to www.BigRock.com.

Boats that fished inshore returned with a nice catch of Spadefish. They also had a good catch of Spanish Mackerel and some Bonita. Afternoon anglers experienced good Red Drum fishing.

Nearly all of our offshore fleet fished today. Dolphin fishing was good, with some boats bringing in limits. Blackfin Tuna were biting and anglers returned with a good catch. The Wahoo bite was scattered. Two Blue Marlins, two White Marlins, and a Sailfish were released today.

Another beautiful out in the gulf stream, all of the boats were out again today. Boats returned with excellent catches of both Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna. There were also a few Wahoo caught. Bottom fishing was also good, catches include Sea Bass, Trigger fish, Silver Snapper and Snowy Grouper. Gambler and Release both released a White Marlin

Inshore anglers had a good day as well, they caught Red Drum and Spanish Mackerel.

The marina was pretty empty today with all the boats fishing both inshore and offshore. It was a beautiful day after the windy day we had yesterday. Offshore boats are returning with excellent catches of Dolphin with some boats having a limit, which is 10 fish per person. Good catches of Blackfin Tuna and a few Wahoo. Tuna Duck released a Blue Marlin.

Inshore anglers had a slow start to the morning with only a few Drum being caught but there were catches of Gray Trout and Sheephead. Along the beach they had good catches of Spanish Mackerel

Weather was windy and offshore boats did not make it out. Inshore they were catching keeper Flounder and Red Drum. The Cancer Foundation Cookout has been moved to the Civic Center in Hatteras Village at 5PM tonight. Come support a good cause!

Hot and beautiful weather offshore today with good catches of Dolphin/Mahi-Mahi, good Blackfin Tuna and scattered Wahoo. Bite Me and Hatteras Blue both released Blue Marlin. Inshore big Red Drum and slot size keepers, good Spanish Mackerel in the morning. Today kicked off the Big Rock tournament. We wish all the participants best of luck but we are especially rooting for Hatteras Fever II, Sea Creature, Tuna Duck and Release. Tightlines and hope you have to head to Morehead for weigh in!

Few fished offshore today. Weather was ok in the morning, but wind picked up in the afternoon. They returned to the docks with excellent catches of Dolphin, both bailers and gaffers. Some good catches of Spanish Mackerel were caught along the beach.

Inshore anglers that fished the Sound caught a few Gray Trout in the morning, and nice catches of Red Drum in the afternoon.

Inshore boats reported Red Drum releases in the Pamlico Sound this morning. This afternoon, Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks were being caught.

Offshore, False Killer Whales were spotted this morning as boats were putting their lines out. Anglers returned with beautiful catches of Dolphin (both gaffers and bailers), a few Wahoo, and a few King Mackerel. Blackfin Tuna fishing was real good today! One boat released a Blue Marlin.

We need 3-4 people for a Make-up Charter tomorrow.
