Makeup Charters

Do you have a desire to go fishing in the Gulf Stream but don't have enough people to charter a boat? You can experience the thrill of Big Game fishing for only $350 per person. We can put a trip together for you. You can sign up in the store, on our website or we can email or fax you a form.

*Here's how it works:
You let us know which days you can fish and pay your money at the time of signing. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST MORE THAN A WEEK IN ADVANCE. You may pay with cash or credit card, we accept all major credit cards. Each evening before the days you have indicated, you must call 252-986-2166 at 5 pm and see if we have made the charter. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL.
If we have a charter you must report to the marina between 5:45 am and 6:00 am to check in and we will let you know what boat you will be fishing on (boats are assigned on a rotational basis).
If we fail to make a charter for you on the days you have indicated you can fish, we will refund your money.

*Possible catches include:
Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackeral, Blue Marlin, White Marlin and Sailfish.
The catch varies with the time of year.

*What you need to bring:
You will need to provide a small cooler for your food and drinks, sunscreen and anything else you may need.
Bait and tackle are provided.

*Are there any other expenses?
For their considerable efforts, it is suggested that you pool together with the others in the party to give the crew a 20% tip. The fish you catch will be cleaned for you and the party will divide the cost.

*The boats return between 4 pm and 5 pm.
