Fishing Reports

A few of the big boats headed out this morning to do it again. They had good Dolphin fishing along with some Wahoo and a few Blackfin Tuna. Hatteras Fever II and Release each released a Sailfish. Sea Creature released 2 Sailfish. The Inshore boats stayed home today.

The big boats plied the blue water this morning. The temperature was warm and the fishing was hot. They had excellent Dolphin catching along with a few Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna. The Sailfish were on the bite. Release released 5 Sailfish. Sea Creature released 9 Sailfish. Inshore boats got onto the Bluefish bite. They also had a few Sheepshead and some pretty Red Drum.

It was the second beautiful day for fishing and Release headed out this morning. They had a few more Dolphin and a Wahoo along with a few Blackfin Tuna. They also released a Sailfish. Inshore boat Black Pearl headed offshore this morning and had good Dolphin fishing along with an Amberjack and then caught Red Drum on the inside on the way back in.

We are open for business and back at it. Release and A Salt Weapon parted the water this morning. It was a beautiful day and Release had good Dolphin fishing along with a Blackfin Tuna. Some other boats had a couple of Wahoo. The Inshore boats didn't untie from the dock today.

Due to current weather conditions and the furture forecast the marina will be closed Thursday, Friday and maybe Saturday depending on weather conditions.

This first day of Autumn, and a couple of the big boats snuck out to the fishing grounds this morning. Sundown made it a morning trip and took advantage of the Spanish Mackerel catching. Hatteras Blue had some Dolphin with both gaffers and bailers and they had scattered Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna. Inshore boats had some Red Drum, Bluefish and Cobia. The next few days look like we're going to have a Nor'easter but some Inshore boats may be able to get out for a couple of days.

It turned out to be a pretty day on the blue water for the big boats today. Some boats had good Dolphin fishing with scattered bailers and gaffers. They also had a few Blackfin Tuna and a couple of Wahoo. A couple of the Inshore boats went offshore and had good catches of Dolphin along with some Amberjacks, Albacore, King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel. One or two Barracuda were also caught.

A few of the big boats headed out this morning. Fishing was very scrappy. They had a few Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna and very few Wahoo. Inshore boat Hang On made a happy customer with shelling and clamming. They had 136 Clams. Inshore boat Last Cast had good Bluefish catching in the inlet.

It was a rough day for the Offshore boats today. Pretty rough conditions but the Dolphin catching was fair. They had a scattered Blackfin Tuna and a very scattered Wahoo. Inshore boats had good Bluefish catches today.

The summer temperatures with the humidity returned today. The Offshore boats had some good Blackfin Tuna fishing. Some boats had a few Dolphin and Wahoo and a few boats had a couple of small Yellowfin Tuna. Calypso and Hatteras Blue each released a Sailfish. Hatteras Fever released 2 Sailfish. Inshore boats had good Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish catches casting on lures. Some also had bottom fish.

What a pretty day to be fishing.

Offshore had a good day catching some Dolphin, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna.

Inshore had a great day Catching Spanish Mackerel, Blue Fish, and Jack Crevalle.

What a nice day to be Fishing. Inshore Fleet had a good day catching Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and Pompano.

Offshore Fleet had a good catch of Dolphin, a few Blackfin Tuna, and couple Wahoo.

Too windy for the Offshore boats to untie from the docks this morning. Inshore boats had a good Red Drum day. Drum love to bite on windy days. They also make really great fish tacos. Some boats had big Bluefish too.

At 5 years old, Reed Cassler released a 48" Red Drum that was bigger than himself on Black Pearl. Way to go Reed! Congratulations!

The big boats were hot today, it was a scorcher. Blackfin Tuna was on the bite along with some Dolphin with mostly bailers and one or two gaffers. Yellowfin Tuna made an appearance for a few boats that caught some. Sea Creature released a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish. Inshore boats had catches of Bluefish, Cobia, King Mackerel, Amberjacks and Spanish Mackerel. Some boats had Red Drum on the bite.

Kurt Lutz made sure the catch of his life, Lindsey, didn't get away and proposed on Release after she caught a Dolphin.

It was scrappy fishing for the Offshore boats today. Some boats had good catches of Blackfin Tuna and some others had Dolphin. Sundown and Hatteras Fever II each released a Sailfish. Sea Creature released 3 Sailfish. The Inshore boats stayed home today.

The Offshore fleet watched the sun rise over the blue water this morning. The sun shared the sky with offshore storm clouds that lit up the dark. They had good catches of Blackfin Tuna and some Dolphin. Some boats had a few Wahoo and some bottom fish, like B-Liners and Snappers. Bite Me released a Sailfish. Calypso released a Sailfish. Sundown boated a Sailfish. Sea Creature released 2 Sailfish. Inshore boats made a day of catching Bluefish, Red Drum and Flounder. Some Inshore boats had Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna and bottom fish.

A couple of the big boats plied the water this morning. They were able to throw some Dolphin on deck along with some Blackfin Tuna. Wahoo fishing was scattered. Inshore boats had catches of Bluefish and Cobia to make for happy anglers.
